I Simply Need to Acknowledge His Presence

I am 52 years old, married, in General Santos City working on administrative matters with the Philippine National Police.

I am a person who worries a lot.

What I always do is to pray and if still too many things bother me, I go to church to attend an morning Mass. I remember hearing in the Food For Faith Homily Studio ‘Christ is Enough’. This strikes me a lot. These words come to mind for me every time I feel anxious and worried.

This morning when I woke at 3.00 am. I reflected on my experience with God.

I cannot hold my tears because I realized that I simply need to acknowledge His presence in every joy and pain that I experience. He is with me all the time.

Yesterday, three of us gathered to ask the same question, what is my experience of God? Larry my husband said, ‘The wind that I feel now is an experience of God’s presence.’

I realize again that in every situation, in every minute, in every second, He is with me.

He is here in me now.

I thank you; I thank God for this moment and for this opportunity to write my own gospel.

Every moment is an instrument, an opportunity for me to deepen my relationship with God.
