A semi-retired Marist working alongside Māori

Happened to be Good Friday.

We had been praying for weeks for parents and their baby in the womb. The baby was tiny and did not seem to be developing well.

Eventually the baby was induced, and a lovely healthy girl was born. Small, yes, and kept in an incubator, but perfectly formed and well.

Mother well, too.

This spoke to me of God’s presence in the depth of meaning of Good Friday.

I cried with thanks - Ngā Roimata Whakamoemiti
