Welcomed Home by Jesus

I have been a Catholic all my life. Attending church regularly, maybe not as much in my 20's, thinking I could do life by myself.
My Dad died the night of 13 April 2024.
The night before, I stayed all night in his room with him. He had quite a cough, but it did not seem to bother him. He seemed restless to me until I started to really pay attention. At one point my Dad was reaching out, arms in the air. I wanted to assure him that I was there, that he was not alone.
I went to his bedside and touched his hand. I soon realized he was not reaching out to me. I believe that my Dad was seeing people that had passed before him: his wife, the love of his life, who he had been married to for over fifty years had passed thirteen years earlier, a son who passed five years ago, another son who passed three years ago, plus parents and siblings.
I watched him through the night. He was having conversations. His arms up as though he was dancing, followed by a smile.
I've told this to a few people and the word hallucination was mentioned which irritated me. I do not think he was hallucinating at all. I think he was being greeted by his loved ones and also being welcomed home by Jesus. It is hard to describe and make it as beautiful as it was.
At times, I felt jealous of what he was getting to see.
I will never forget that night and the sense of peace he must have been feeling.
